How to view Yaad Market in another language
You can translate the web page in your browser. You can enable or disable translation of web pages in browsers at any time in the Widen Collective. Though we don’t recommend it as a best practice due to inconsistencies in translations, the service is available if English is not your preferred language.
Chrome, Safari, and IE use Google Translate to translate web pages.
Firefox uses add-ons, including the Google Translator add-on.
To enable or disable translation in Chrome:
- Open the Chrome menu in the top right of the browser window.
- Select Settings.
- Click Advanced.
- Scroll to the Languages section.
- Add the desired language or drag to order the languages based on preferences. Check that the offer to translate pages option is enabled.
To translate in Chrome, right-click on the page and select Translate to English or click the Translate icon in the address bar. (Note that on a Mac, instead of a Translate icon, a translation bar displays below the address bar. Users can select the language to translate to in the translate bar.)

The site is 100% free to use. Buying and selling is done directly between the buyer and seller at their agreed price(s). All payments would be made directly to the seller separate from the site. We are only here to help facilitate the initial contact.

Do I need to sign-up?
You do not need to sign-up (have an account) to view an ad or to to reply to an ad. You do however need to sign-up (have an account) to post an ad. Click here to sign-up (create an account).
How do I sign-up / create an account?
Towards the top right of the website, you will see a “Create Account” link. Click on that, fill out the required fields and submit to create your account. From there you will be able to post ads on the website. You can click here to sign-up / create an account.
How do I log in?
Also in the top right corner of the website, you will see a “Log In” link. Click on that. It’ll take you to this page – https://yaadmarket.com/login/
What if I forgot my password?
If you can’t remember your password you can reset it. Go to the log in page (https://yaadmarket.com/login/) and click on the “Lost Password” link further down on the page. You can also go directly here – https://yaadmarket.com/lostpassword/. Once you fill out that form and submit it, you will be emailed (to the email address on your account) a link to create a new password.
How do I edit my account settings or password?
To edit your display name or password, click on “My Account” at the top of the site once you’re logged in.
How do I purchase an item?
Once you have contacted a seller about product(s) for sale, the price of the item(s) will be negotiated directly with the seller, separate from the website. There are no fees on any transaction. Any money exchanged will be directly between the seller and the buyer.
How do I contact a buyer or a seller?
Once you’ve found a listing that you’d like to inquire about, you can use the “Contact Seller” form found on each listing page. Submitting that form will send an email to the buyer. When the buyer replies, it will come directly from their email and into your email account. Only this initial contact is done through our website.
How do I post an ad?
Can I choose how long my post appear on the website?
Yes it will stay-up until you delete the post.
I’m posting an ad, what are the locations?
The locations you see when posting the ad are the locations the item is available in or if you’re posting a “looking for” ad, this would be the location you’re looking in. You can choose multiple locations if needed, or just one.
Is there a maximum file size for the images I want to upload?
Yes, each image can be up to 5MB maximum for the file size. Anything larger will not be uploaded to the website.
How do I edit an ad that I’ve created?
Any ads/listings that you’ve created you’ll be able to see when you click the “My Listings” link at the top of the site. This is part of your profile once when you’re logged in. You’ll see a list of all your ads and each will have a “Update Listing” link. Click on that, edit as needed and submit it to save.
How do I delete an ad that I’ve created?
Once you’re logged in, click on the “My Listings” link towards the top of the site. From there you’ll see a list of all the ads you’ve created. Each will have a “Delete Listing” link. Click on that to remove it from the website.
How do I view listings that people have posted?
There are many ways to view ads/listings. On the home page of the website we’ve included the most recent ones. There is also a list of the categories on the home page and in the top left menu of the website. You can view all of the categories and sub-categories here – https://yaadmarket.com/browse/
You can also use the search tool at the top of every page. This will allow you to search by keyword, plus you can further refine those search results by the category and location.
